Privacy policy

Your fundraiser plan stays on your phone. This policy covers the Figtree Fundraiser Plan app for Android; the website note below covers this site.

This website

The website has no account, no cookies, no analytics and no external scripts or fonts. The planner keeps your plans in this browser (local storage) until you delete them, and opens your own email app with the request written in. Nothing is sent until you press send there.

02

What this notice covers

The notice covers the app on your phone: the product list and calendar, the drives you plan, saved drives, and the ways the app hands a request or an info sheet to you to send.

Image for the privacy section The product list and calendar in the app

03

The product list and calendar in the app

The products, pack sizes, allergen lines, bakery hours, NSW public holidays and school holidays are part of the app. They are shown without any network connection and reveal nothing about you.

Image for the privacy section The drive you plan

04

The drive you plan

A drive holds your group’s name and type, the season, the money goal, the products and how the packs are shared, and the dates you plan.

Drives stay on your phone.

Image for the privacy section Prices you type

05

Prices you type

The bakery’s price and your selling price are typed by you from the bakery’s quote. The app uses them only to work out packs, the amount to pay the bakery and the amount raised.

Image for the privacy section Dates and deadlines

06

Dates and deadlines

The latest order date, your cut-off and flyer dates are worked out on your phone from your collection date, the bakery hours and the NSW public holidays in the app.

Image for the privacy section The buyer info sheet

07

The buyer info sheet

The buyer info sheet is made on your phone from the products you chose. It contains no personal information unless you add your own contact line.

Image for the privacy section Your name and phone

08

Your name and phone

To let the bakery reply, a request can include a contact name and a phone number. You type them yourself and they are optional.

Image for the privacy section Where your data is stored

09

Where your data is stored

Everything you enter is stored in the app’s private storage on your phone, in a database other apps cannot read.

Android backup is turned off for the app, so this data is not copied to a cloud backup.

Image for the privacy section No account, no cloud copy

10

No account, no cloud copy

The app has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. Nothing is synchronised and no copy exists outside your phone unless you send it.

Image for the privacy section What the app does not collect

11

What the app does not collect

The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, files, device identifiers, advertising identifiers or usage statistics, and it contains no analytics or advertising code.

Image for the privacy section No internet access

12

No internet access

The app does not request the Android internet permission. It cannot send anything by itself.

Image for the privacy section Calling the bakery

13

Calling the bakery

Call opens your phone app with the bakery’s number filled in; the call is made only if you start it. Keep the request open to read it out.

Image for the privacy section Sending by email

14

Sending by email

Email opens your own email app with the request written in. Nothing is sent until you press send there.

Image for the privacy section Sharing, copying and the info sheet

15

Sharing, copying and the info sheet

Share opens the Android share sheet with the request or the buyer info sheet, and Copy puts the text on the clipboard. The app you choose then handles it.

Image for the privacy section How the bakery uses a request you send

16

How the bakery uses a request you send

A request you send reaches the bakery through the channel you used. The bakery uses it to reply about products, quantities, prices, payment and collection.

Ask the bakery directly how long it keeps messages.

17

Your choices and rights

You can edit, duplicate or delete saved drives at any time, and uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from your phone. Deleting a drive does not cancel anything you already sent.

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask NAS FOOD PTY LTD for access to, or correction of, personal information you sent it. Write to PO Box 503, Ingleburn NSW 1890 or call (02) 4225 7288. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

If the app changes how it handles data, this notice is updated in a new version of the app and on the website, with a new effective date.
